Details Are Emerging About This Year s Big Music Fest, The Gathering of the Juggalos

It s not a stretch to say that The Gathering of 2012 might go down as one of the most epic Juggalo festivals of all time. It s certainly one of the most anticipated in history. Some might even make the argument that The Gathering of 2012 is one of the most highly anticipated big music fests in all of 2012.

But hey, that s what happens when you release your most highly anticipated horror rap album to coincide with a highly anticipated big music fest like The Gathering.

Unfortunately, many of the details surrounding exactly who will be performing at Juggalo festival The Gathering this year will have to wait until they are announced through the traditional medium of The Gathering infomercial. That said, for the time being there are some rumors about who will be playing this year’s Juggalo festival on which we can speculate.

Let s take a look at the guests who ve been confirmed for ICP s forthcoming album, The Mighty Death Pop! There are only two of them (confirmed) for the main album: Hopsin and Tech N9ne. Tech N9ne has thrown down at the big music fest before, so it wouldn t be a surprise if he showed up at this year s Juggalo festival to rap on the new track he did with ICP.

If he does show up at the Juggalo festival, it s almost a given that he ll also perform his own set. With a name like that in the headlines, it wouldn t be much of a surprise if The Gathering this year received the same amount of attention that other big music fests receive from the media.

The same can be said for Hopsin. He too has performed at previous Juggalo festivals, but his popularity would skyrocket at this year s annual big music fest strictly thanks to his appearance on upcoming ICP album The Mighty Death Pop! If you attend The Gathering this year and Hopsin is performing, will you catch his set?

Hopsin and Tech N9ne may be the only guests on the main Mighty Death Pop! album, but there are a slew of others making appearances on the album s bonus discs that might also appear at the big music fest. Ice Cube and Fred Durst are just two examples that have already been announced. But would horror rap heads welcome the Limp Bizkit front man at their Juggalo festival this year?

After all, it is their house and they decide who gets in. So how about it, Ninjas? You go to one big music fest that s also a Juggalo festival per year. How would you receive Fred Durst?

And what about Ice Cube? He s another alumni of past Juggalo festivals, all of which received him well. However, in recent years he s made a transition out of big music fests and into the mainstream family movie arena. In 2012, would his appearance at The Gathering garner as much love from Juggalos?
